People will always be drawn to guides like this, and the guides will always fail to live up to the hype. In my opinion, they are all short-cuts, designed to attract people who don't want / can't come up with a business model of their own. I welcome the day when search engines etc are able to cut out internet noise (ie. spam affiliate blogs) entirely. :) Meh, it’s an unfortunate situation.
