There’s a new course called “10 Day Cash Secret” by Neil Shearing. A lot of gurus (like Dr Andy Williams & Michael Campbell) are promoting the course. I am a sucker for internet and business opportunity, so I decided to jump into the bandwagon.
What is this course about? “10 Day cash Secret” by Neil Shearing contains a Wordpress plugin, some video and PDF tutorials. The plugin allows you to set up Wordpress blogs with affiliate datafeed. Neil shows you how to sort the datafeed in excel spreadsheet as affiliate companies have different affiliate format. As advertised, the system also does the following: SEO configuration, sitemap creation, embed RSS feeds etc. You get traffic to the blogs via long tail search terms.
The problems with “10 Day Cash Secret” is duplicate contents penalty. Note that the datafeed are available to every affiliate. It means other affiliates will share the same contents as you! In addition, the blogs created via the “10 Day Cash Secret” system appears to be spammy. It’s that kind of “thin” affiliate site that Google hates. Don’t believe? Take a look at Neil’s example site and you will know what I mean:

$4k commission with spammy blogs? I saw some discussion in the forums and realize that many people have been misled by the salesletter. If you read the sales letter of “10 Day Cash Secret” carefully, Neil made over $4k in sales. His actual commission is merely $100.
Should you buy “10 Day Cash Secret”? I do not recommend “10 Day Cash Secret” for reasons stated above. It is not a viable business model for long term. Even if you want to generate some quick cash, there are other better options too.

Meh, it’s an unfortunate situation. People will always be drawn to guides like this, and the guides will always fail to live up to the hype.
In my opinion, they are all short-cuts, designed to attract people who don’t want / can’t come up with a business model of their own. I welcome the day when search engines etc are able to cut out internet noise (ie. spam affiliate blogs) entirely.
